Cable Area Chamber of Commerce

Hundreds of miles of excellent trail systems bring snowmobilers back again and again to the Cable Area…a system that encompasses a gently rolling terrain in the middle of the Chequamegon National Forest.
Bayfield County Snowmobile Alliance groomers keep the trails impeccably groomed using 7 hardworking groomers including a brand-new Sno Plane groomer, the only one of its kind in Wisconsin! The groomers will run the machine 120+ hours per week.
Uncrowded trails and the solitude of the national forest afford the snowmobiler an exhilarating outdoor experience. The interconnecting trail systems allow the snowmobiler to travel to the numerous resorts and taverns in the area. Trailering is not required once you arrive at your resort. The Cable area system connects with the surrounding county trails and the Tri-County Corridor trail running from Minnesota to Michigan.
